Senior AI Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for a leading telecommunications client. This individual will lead the design and development of next-generation IVR and conversational AI solutions that support millions of customer interactions. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in traditional machine learning and NLP, combined with modern LLM expertise, to build scalable AI systems in production environments. This role will focus on NLP model development, LLM architectures, agentic AI workflows, and AI operational best practices while providing technical leadership and mentoring across the engineering organization. The position offers the opportunity to shape the future of voice and conversational experiences at enterprise scale.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in AI / ML
Very strong proficiency in Python
Proven expertise in NLP, including: Text classification and Clustering
Strong experience in data analysis using SQL
Hands-on experience with LLMs: Prompt engineering, Evaluation frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

IVR / Conversational AI experience
Agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration experience
LLMOps / MLOps experience
