Manufacturing Supervisor I

Manufacturing Supervisor I role at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility overseeing daily production operations, safety compliance, and team management. Reports to senior supervisors while leading shift operations to meet production schedules and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Foster zero-incident safety culture through floor presence, safety gembas, and EHS compliance
• Coordinate shift activities, manage team deployment, and ensure production schedule achievement
• Conduct performance reviews, manage training, and develop direct reports with growth opportunities
• Execute proactive compliance management including material checks and regulatory documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements for cycle time and changeover optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; sciences or engineering degree strongly preferred
• Two years manufacturing or related experience; supervisor experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as SAP
• Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs required
• Pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong documentation and writing skills in regulated environments
