We're clinician-led and minority-owned, and our PMHNPs don't work in isolation.You'll be part of an integrated care team alongside therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators, all working together to support the same child and family.Whether you're supplementing an existing role, balancing family commitments, or expanding your telehealth practice, this role is designed to give you flexibility while keeping the clinical work meaningful.Compensation + Monthly Bonus PotentialWe believe clinicians should be rewarded for the important work they do.Our PMHNP compensation includes:$100 per completed psychiatric intake$40 per completed follow-up sessionMonthly bonus potential based on eligible clinical and performance metricsOpportunities for professional growth and increased earning potential as Backpack continues to expandAdditional Benefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision for eligible team membersPTO based on employment statusCEU reimbursementClinical mentorship and case consultationCollaborative interdisciplinary clinical team100% remote telehealth practiceBuild a schedule that works for your life while creating meaningful earning opportunities and making a difference for kids and families.What You'll DoYou'll provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults through telehealth, with a focus on evidence-based, family-centered treatment.Afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is required —that's when families are most available for care.Your day-to-day will include:Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and developing diagnostic formulationsCreating individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and familiesPrescribing and managing psychotropic medications while monitoring effectiveness, safety, and clinical progressProviding brief supportive interventions and psychoeducation alongside medication managementCollaborating with therapists, psychiatrists, and care coordinators through regular case consultationMaintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in our EHREducating patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment options, and expected outcomesWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a PMHNP who has:An active, unrestricted Maryland PMHNP license.
