General Surgeon

CompHealth is seeking a skilled physician for a locum tenens assignment, offering an opportunity to leverage their extensive network to find the ideal placement. Responsibilities
- Provide call-only coverage
- Maintain a 30-minute response time
- Handle an average call volume of 3 phone consults, 5 patients seen, and 2 admissions per 24 hours
- Perform laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy
- Perform GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and hernia repair
- Provide holiday coverage
Compensation
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
