Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Need in TN Coverage Dates

• Ongoing coverage

• 9-hour and 10-hour shifts
• 37 physician coverage hours per day
• 34 APP coverage hours per day

• Emergency Medicine
• Level I Trauma Center
  
• EMR: Epic
  
• Telehealth Experience: No

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage
• Provide care within a Level I Trauma Center
• Serve as a supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ABEM candidates only
• Completion of an approved Emergency Medicine residency program
• Active unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• Active DEA with Tennessee address
• DEA Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4 and 5
• ECFMG certification required for foreign medical graduates
• New graduates accepted
• Emergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months will be considered

• ACLS required
• ATLS required
• PALS required if not ABEM certified
• NRP required for non-ABEM providers

• $1 million per occurrence
• $3 million aggregate
