What You'll Do

• Verify physician orders and ensure procedural accuracy
• Operate radiology equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including catheterization procedures
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort
• Review images for quality, ensuring diagnostic standards are met before transmission
• Perform quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
• Assist with departmental operations such as inventory and equipment maintenance
• Adapt interactions and communication styles for diverse patient populations
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including safety and privacy standards
• Ensure sterile and safe working environment, managing exposure risks appropriately
• Support ongoing departmental needs and provide excellent patient care throughout procedures

What You Need

• Valid ARRT registration and current state license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program
• Proven experience in cardiac catheterization labs or similar vascular imaging procedures
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including potential on-call shifts and travel

• Additional certifications related to cardiac or vascular imaging
• Experience in fast-paced healthcare environments
