Job Description TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. Position Details Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift length: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide basic bedside care. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays. Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members. Initiate corrective action whenever monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology. Requirements 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as an RN. BLS qualification, NIH certification, and at least 1 year of RN experience. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job ID #1423750.
