Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Lake Placid, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a premier athletic training location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to athletes, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, athletes, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a high-traffic training and event location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
