Controller Location: Wall Township, NJ (On-Site) About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and strengthen its accounting and finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys balancing day-to-day execution with process improvement, team leadership, and strategic financial planning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing SaaS environment and enjoys building scalable financial processes while partnering closely with executive leadership. Responsibilities Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and monthly and year-end close Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP Lead the month-end close process and ensure compliance with internal financial policies Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analysis Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Manage and mentor the accounting team while improving processes and internal controls Partner with leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic business decisions Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability Develop and track key financial metrics and performance indicators Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including prior experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager Strong background supporting a SaaS or subscription-based business Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Experience consolidating financial statements Experience migrating from QuickBooks Enterprise to QuickBooks Online is a plus Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment CPA and/or Big 4 public accounting experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $140,000 plus performance-based bonus Medical insurance (employee coverage paid by employer) Dental and Vision insurance 401(k) Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing organization Compensation: $140,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
