Packaging DesignerFort Lauderdale, Florida, United StatesAbout the Job Packaging DesignerWe are seeking a Packaging Designer to join a dynamic and collaborative packaging design team supporting multiple well-established consumer brands in the toys industry. This is an exciting opportunity to design innovative, eye-catching, and functional packaging that stands out on shelves and resonates with diverse target markets. You’ll influence all consumer-facing design initiatives in the packaging department for designated brands, making a meaningful impact on product perception and customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop innovative packaging systems, both structural and graphicalConceptualize ideas and translate them into detailed sketches, prototypes, and digital designsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and global partners to ensure consistent brand messagingCreate and modify packaging die line templatesPrepare high-quality mock-ups and design submissions for internal and licensor approvalsStay updated with current packaging and toy industry trends to inform design choicesParticipate in team meetings and contribute ideas for ongoing and upcoming projectsEnsure packaging meets brand standards, compliance, and manufacturing guidelinesOur Ideal Candidate Has:3+ years of experience in packaging designProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Experience working with style guides and mockupsStrong knowledge of print processes, dielines, materials, and manufacturing methodsBackground in consumer goods packaging; toy or baby product experience preferredExceptional attention to detail, communication, and organization skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyA creative mindset with a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to adapt to evolving prioritiesMultilingual abilities, experience with tradeshows, licensed brands and licensor approvals is a plusIf you’re a design-forward thinker with a passion for turning creative ideas into impactful packaging, we’d love to hear from you.This is a contract, working onsite in the Fort Lauderdale area, FL.
