Senior Electrical Engineer - Test

Overview This position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience. The Test Equipment Engineering Directorate seeks hands-on, multi-discipline collaboration to develop test solutions for Raytheon products. This onsite role is located in McKinney, Texas. U.S. government security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain an Interim U.S. government-issued security clearance is required before start date. What You Will Do Design, development, and integration of Raytheon test products within Test Equipment Engineering in multi-discipline teams Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, and circuit design and analysis Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects Work independently or as part of a team to identify and resolve issues in the development and implementation of test products Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree with three (3) years of relevant experience Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and testing Experience with electrical design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics Qualifications We Prefer Master of Science in STEM fields; ABET accreditation preferred but not required Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidisciplinary team Experience with analog, digital, and RF design; digital/mixed-signal interconnect Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools Strong self-starter, able to manage workload and meet deadlines Proficient technical writing and formal presentation skills Experience leading single- or multi-discipline engineering teams and project management Bid and proposal experience; knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization Experience with programming languages and interfacing with units under test (UUTs) Root-cause analysis and troubleshooting experience; knowledge of RTX projects or systems What We Offer Raytheon offers a robust total rewards package including compensation, healthcare, wellness, retirement, and work/life benefits; career development and recognition programs.
