Funds Innovation & Knowledge Management Attorney [84196]

A leading funds-focused legal and advisory practice supporting sponsors, managers, and institutional investors across various investment strategies is seeking a Funds Innovation & Knowledge Management Attorney . This onsite role in Chicago, IL, offers a permanent opportunity within a dynamic team committed to enhancing fund operations and legal processes. The position involves developing innovative tools and resources to improve efficiency and consistency for our client’s Funds practice. Create and update reference materials and library resources related to fund formation, negotiations, and operations. Refresh and maintain model legal documents, offering templates and checklists for fund and secondary transactions. Standardize workflows for key processes to ensure consistency across fund activities. Identify and pilot AI and legal technology solutions to enhance document generation and compliance workflows. Lead the adoption of new tools by developing training materials, tracking usage, and reporting on outcomes. Funds Innovation & Knowledge Management Attorney Qualifications: J.D. degree with active Illinois bar admission. Over four years of relevant experience, ideally in private funds, investment management, or related transactional work. Experience with fund formation, investor negotiations, side letters, and regulatory filings preferred. Ability to collaborate with senior attorneys on process design and knowledge management initiatives.
