Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Annual Salary: $250k-$275k (varies depending on years of experience) A dynamic and well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in NYC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to lead its clinical operations. This center provides a wide range of primary and specialty care services to a diverse patient population and is recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight across all medical departments and programs. Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure quality improvement and compliance with regulatory standards. Support and mentor healthcare providers to maintain high standards of care. Participate in strategic planning and development of clinical protocols. Promote interdisciplinary teamwork and integrated care delivery. Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety practices. Represent the health center in community and professional settings as needed. Required Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Family Medicine or Internal Medicine specialty, required. Board Certification (mandatory). Active New York State medical license and DEA registration. Experience in outpatient clinical settings. Prior leadership experience as a Medical Director or Associate Medical Director is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with FQHC operations and Patient-Centered Medical Home principles preferred.
