Litigation AssociateWell established and growing firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Raleigh office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on complex and high-quality matters within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.About the RoleThis is a hands-on position for an attorney who wants to take an active role in litigation. You will work closely with experienced attorneys while also managing key aspects of your own cases, gaining meaningful courtroom and client exposure.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support a caseload of complex civil litigation mattersDraft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motionsTake and defend fact and expert witness depositionsConduct legal research and prepare high-quality written workParticipate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparationCollaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategyQualifications4–7+ years of litigation experienceExperience with medical negligence, premises liability, product liability, or similar complex tort mattersDemonstrated experience taking and defending depositions (including expert witnesses)Experience arguing motions in courtStrong legal research and writing skillsExcellent academic credentials (top 25% of class required)Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admissionCompensationCompetitive base salary DOEDiscretionary bonusesHealth, Dental, Vision401(k)/retirementPTO and vacation/sickOngoing mentorshipPath to partnership coaching New Day Executive Search
