Monterey and Blackfin Boats are recruiting for a sewing machine operator. We are looking for someone: with a good work ethic who works well with others who can take instruction and has good reasoning skills This is a full time position. Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 3:45pm. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Rate of pay starts at $16.25 per hour Responsibilities include: Set up and operate industrial sewing machine. Install bobbins, needles and guide plates to accommodate different fabric and pattern types and create assorted stitching patterns . Produce sewn, finished articles by following patterns and instructions that typically change with each project. Maintain inventory or materials and tools. Monitor for imperfections in material or threads. Notify supervisor if a mistake in pattern or work instruction is discovered.
