Physician – Associate Medical Examiner (Forensic Pathologist)
Location: 11025 N. 46th Street, Tampa, FL 33617
Compensation: $148.22 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday–Sunday, as needed
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Assignment (W-2 Employee)
Client: County Medical Examiner's Office
The Associate Medical Examiner (Forensic Pathologist) is responsible for conducting medicolegal death investigations to determine the cause and manner of death. Duties include performing autopsies, evaluating forensic and medical evidence, preparing investigative reports, and providing expert testimony when required. The position requires collaboration with law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals, legal representatives, and other stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
