Role Description The Insurance Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in East Los Angeles, CA. In this position, the representative engages prospective and existing customers, assesses their coverage needs, and recommends suitable insurance products across auto, home, and other personal and commercial lines. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, providing quotes, processing applications, and assisting clients with policy changes and renewals. The role requires maintaining accurate records in agency systems, following company sales processes, and meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. The representative collaborates with colleagues and management to ensure a positive customer experience, uphold compliance standards, and contribute to the growth of the local office. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Sales, with a track record of meeting goals in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and handle inquiries professionally. Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, including basic policy structures, coverage types, and underwriting considerations. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information in a clear, accessible way. Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and policy transactions efficiently. Relevant qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred) and the ability to obtain and maintain a California insurance license.
