Academic Vascular Surgeon

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Academic Vascular Surgeon to join the growing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, 100% vascular surgery practice located in a vibrant coastal community. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide and grow general and endo-vascular surgical services.
• Engage in research to advance knowledge and improve quality of care.
• Supervise and teach surgical residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with operating room staff on staffing and equipment needs.
• Assist in developing and implementing a Quality Improvement Program for Vascular Surgical Services.
• Participate in community education and continuing medical education programs.
• Aid in the development of a Center for Minimally Invasive Endo-Vascular Surgery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Board-certified/eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• At least 5 years of practice experience.
• Expertise in complex aortic surgery is essential.
• Must have experience or a strong interest in teaching medical students and residents.
