Application Engineer

We are seeking a System/Application Engineer to work closely with Data, ETL, and product teams to design, build, and support application environments for both third-party and custom products. This role requires a strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, and data movement across systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with the Data and ETL teams to understand data requirements and ensure data sources are available for downstream processing.
• Support and coordinate ETL job development, ensuring data pipelines are correctly built, tested, and documented.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to enable bulk data transfers via SFTP, including setup of required SFTP mailboxes and access.
• Configure and integrate APIs by collaborating with teams responsible for API gateways and related infrastructure.
• Act as a technical liaison between application, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth end-to-end system integration.
• Support both third-party products and custom-built applications, ensuring they are properly integrated into the overall application ecosystem.
• Document system architectures, data flows, and ETL processes as solutions are built and enhanced.
• Assist in building and maintaining stable, scalable application environments across development and production.
