TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Issaquah, Washington, 98029!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Compact license required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Locals are considered at the same rate. Candidates from other facilities are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All facilities honor an active compact license. Two years of experience is required. First-time travelers are not accepted. Special procedures include blood and blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps. Attends all deliveries and high-risk deliveries. Unit details include 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. Patient diagnoses include labor and preterm labor. Staffing ratio is between 1:1 and 1:3. Float is expected to post-partum and NICU based on skill set. Skills required include the administration of blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high-risk delivery, circulating for C-sections, and recovery of C-sections. Experience in maintaining central lines, pain assessment and management, sterile vaginal exams, and the use of intrauterine pressure catheter placement and calibration is essential. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
