Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Critical Care – Texas

Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Full Time

Highlights:

• High-acuity critical care environment with diverse case mix including post cardiothoracic surgery patients fresh from the OR
• Advanced technology and equipment experience: IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun, TABLO XT/CRRT, and multiple vasoactive drips
• Care for complex patients including CABGs, patients with multiple comorbidities, and advanced cardiac support devices
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Comprehensive orientation and preceptorship program with designated trained staff
• Night shift schedule providing continuity of care for critical patients

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Texas or compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Knowledge and recovery experience with cardiothoracic surgery patients strongly preferred
• Experience with advanced cardiac support devices and continuous renal replacement therapy preferred
