Clinical Social Worker, LICSW, Outpatient Endocrinology

Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time Clinical Social Worker to provide a comprehensive range of social work services to children, adolescents, and young adults within the Division of Endocrinology. This position is an integral part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the health, well-being, and quality of life of patients living with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and other Endocrine-related medical conditions. Key Responsibilities:

• Psychosocial assessments and interventions with patients and their families
• Care coordination, and advocacy while collaborating closely with social work colleagues, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Working with children, adolescents, young adults and families living Type 1 Diabetes and other endocrine medical conditions
• Ability to travel to Weymouth satellite 2-3 days per month

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work
• Experience in a medical environment and with child protection issues helpful.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.

• LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts

New hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus! This hybrid position is based on our main campus in Boston (Longwood) with 2-3 days per month in our Weymouth satellite clinic.
