About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience License: NBSTSA Certification or equivalent experience required Certifications: BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: - NBSTSA Tech License or equivalent experience - BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Minimum two (2) years of experience - Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center is highly desired - Ability to scrub Description: The operating room cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, gynecology, ear-nose-throat, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. There are robotic systems used by multiple specialties. The surgical team performs transplant procedures involving various organs. Successful candidates will be dedicated and have a strong foundation in surgical practices. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential in this dynamic environment. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding setting. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols is crucial for patient care.
