Together with DocGo's integrated Ambulnz medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.Position OverviewYou will be providing DocGo services in New York City by monitoring and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses.Each day, you will drive to patients' homes to provide patient care.While at a patient's home, engage in guided assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare systemThroughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR systemYou will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine supportResponsibilitiesAct as a conduit for the medical treatment of the Health Plan Partnerships patient populationNavigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, medication management, and goals of careProvide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnosesParticipate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training teamAdhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metricsProvide care with cultural sensitivity and compassionLead your practice with a patient-centered approachOther related duties as deemed necessaryQualificationsMust have one of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA.(Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant).Valid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving recordMust have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related settingPhlebotomy experienceActive and current American Heart Association BLSAbility to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bagClinical work experience with pediatrics, preferredFluent bilingual English/Spanish, preferredEEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
