Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN) to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes. Candidates should be flexible, as floating to the lockdown unit may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individualized patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Float to other units, including the lockdown unit, as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Michigan RN License .
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience .
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) .
• Telemetry experience preferred .
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
