Job Title Adjunct Instructor - Biology, Texas A&M University - Texarkana, Department of CASE Biology, Faculty Position. Job Location Texarkana, Texas Job Description The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) occasionally has openings for part-time adjunct instructors appointed on a per semester basis. Applying for a part-time teaching appointment in Biology adds applicants to a pool that is available to the program for selection as needed for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027. Minimum Educational Requirements Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field, including a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline. Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution. Duties (Responsibilities) Teach Biology course(s) in one or more modalities: face‑to‑face, web‑enhanced, hybrid, or online. Conduct courses as 5‑week, 8‑week, 10‑week, or 16‑week terms depending on the semester. Coordinate course administrative duties such as grading, loading course content, meeting with students, submitting grades in a timely manner, meeting census and grade deadlines, and additional duties as needed. Compensation $2,400 per undergraduate section taught with a master’s degree. $2,900 per undergraduate section taught with a Ph.D. Application Requirements Resume or CV.
