Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler II (2nd Shift) - Cable Tray at our Reno, NV facility! The rate for this position is $22.73 + .50 shift differential per hour shift premium. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits that we offer:Health benefits effective day one of employment.Retirement benefitsPaid Parental LeaveEducational Assistance ProgramWellness Reimbursement, and more!What you’ll do:In this function, you will:Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and componentsUse bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devicesWork under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagramsHandle 50-pound parts with or without accommodation to assist with large part constructionSupport all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.Qualifications:Basic (Required) Qualifications:No relocation is available for this position, only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility will be considered.
