Medical Lab Scientist (MLS)

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing point of care testing and will assist with clerical duties as assigned by nursing and laboratory management in support of operational needs.

Location: Herriman, UT

Unit: ER Lab FSED

Number of Beds: To be determined

Number of Staff: To be determined

Type of Equipment: To be determined

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): To be determined

Responsibilities:

• Conduct point of care testing
• Perform clerical duties as assigned
• Support nursing and lab operations effectively

Qualifications:

• Required Certifications: ASCP Certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a laboratory setting
• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of point of care testing procedures

Schedule: Flexibility required; position involves day and evening shifts within the specified hours.
