Description Specialization: Surgery General
Job Summary: Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Trauma Medical Director to lead the trauma and acute care surgery services in El Paso, TX. Qualified Candidates: Must be board certified or board eligible in general surgery Minimum of 15 - 24-hour unrestricted call shifts per month in addition to at least 1 day in outpatient clinic per week Inpatient trauma and acute care with a rotation in an Outpatient clinic Experience in laparoscopic and robotics preferred Level III Trauma program Texas medical license, or eligible for Texas licensure Must be ATLS Certified Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package, including 401k CME and dues allowance Relocation assistance No state income tax About Las Palmas Medical Center: Our 327-bed hospital is a full service acute care facility Las Palmas Medical Center offers comprehensive services and special expertise in Emergency Room Medicine (Level III Trauma), Cardiology, Women s Services, Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Neuroscience, Pediatric care, Oncology Services, and Wound Care Management. Las Palmas Medical Center is also the only Kidney Transplant Center in the Region.
