CT Technologist Opportunity in Orange Park, FL

Become a vital part of a hospital CT team in Orange Park, FL. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images that support timely patient care. The role supports the emergency department for stroke and trauma evaluations and contributes to efficient department turnaround.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT CT certification required.
• Active Florida license for radiologic technologists required.
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience, including trauma and stroke imaging experience preferred.
• Experience with GE CT equipment required; familiarity with Siemens is a plus.
• Experience with Terra Recon or similar reformat/reconstruction platforms preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Meditech and GE Centricity documentation systems preferred.
• Ability to follow AIDET and patient-focused communication standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced reformatting/reconstruction skills on Terra Recon or another platform.
• Prior experience supporting high-acuity ED workflows for stroke and trauma.
• Previous inpatient hospital CT department experience.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–07:30.
• May float to the main department as needed.
• Works closely with the emergency department to expedite patients.
• Unit uses GE and Siemens CT scanners; two techs typically cover overnight.
