Dietitian Part-time

Overview Dietitian role at Encompass Health. Part-time and PRN available. Base pay range: $58,240.00/yr - $93,600.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Responsibilities Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop and implement dietary plans. Provide education on healthy eating habits; instruct patients on post-discharge diets and monitor nutritional status. Communicate with physicians and other involved disciplines; evaluate referral orders; document in the patient ís medical record; implement care plans and adapt menus; assist patients with special dietary needs; conduct calorie counts and make recommendations; review, revise, and sign menus for nutritional adequacy. Qualifications Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (American Dietetic Association); state licensure required. Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred. Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution. One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.
