Fitness Specialist - Senior Living

Location Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living Compensation Commensurate with experience starting at $18 hourly. Hours 32 hours weekly, from 8am to 4:30pm. Position Summary Join our team as a Fitness Specialist. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents. Responsibilities Perform fitness assessments which include vital signs. Prescribe an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training. Educate and evaluate members on proper exercise techniques. Assist with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs. Maintain a clean and safe fitness area for members. Build strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year related work experience. Current CPR/First Aid certifications. Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus. Personal Training Experience preferred. Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
