Regular meetings and training sessions promote a strong team culture while providing opportunities for ongoing professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement individual care plans tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each patient, ensuring an effective approach to rehabilitation.Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and individual rehabilitation goals, taking into account their personal histories and preferences.Utilize evidence-based treatment methodologies and cost-effective therapies that prioritizes non-surgical options to improve mobility and overall wellness.Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing you to dedicate time and attention to each patient, thereby fostering strong therapeutic relationships.Offer motivation and support to patients throughout their treatment, celebrating milestones and encouraging adherence to exercise regimens.Monitor and document patient progress accurately, employing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to ensure robust communication and follow-up.Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to create a cohesive treatment team focused on patient-centered outcomes.Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and refine treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. You will work with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, ensuring that your approach is individualized to address each person's specific challenges and rehabilitation goals.QualificationsA Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.Strong background in orthopedic physical therapy, with proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.Exceptional ability to design and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.Proficient in the use of EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation.A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying current with the latest research in physical therapy methodologies.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in a home health setting or with outpatient rehabilitation.Demonstrated proficiency in treating a wide range of physical therapy diagnoses.Previous experience in sports medicine or working with athletes is a plus.Ability to engage patients effectively, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
