Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care through assessments, therapy plans, and ventilator management. Administer aerosolized medications, perform airway management, arterial blood gas sampling, and assist with invasive/non-invasive procedures. Educate patients, families, and support systems, promoting understanding of biological, emotional, and developmental needs. Collaborate with healthcare team members for care planning and ensure safety, quality, and evidence-based practices. Mentor and precept new employees and students, contributing to staff development. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS (required upon hire). 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
