This role serves as the critical bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that campaigns, programs, and regulatory communications are delivered accurately, on time, and at scale across utility service territories. The Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the marketing technology stack, drives continuous process improvement, and fosters a high-performing team culture focused on quality, accountability, and customer impact.Job Duties/Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Directly manage a team of marketing analysts and Salesforce Marketing Cloud engineers, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development supportSet clear team priorities, workload balance, and delivery expectations in alignment with Marketing Strategy group objectivesFoster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture that values data integrity, technical excellence, and continuous improvementConduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development conversations with direct reportsPartner with HR and senior leadership on workforce planning, hiring, and talent development initiativesStrategy Execution & Campaign Operations Translate marketing strategies and program briefs received primarily from the Marketing Strategy group into actionable execution plans for the operations teamOversee end-to-end campaign and communication delivery across email, SMS, and digital channelsEstablish and enforce intake, prioritization, and project management processes to ensure the operations team can efficiently absorb and execute on incoming strategy requestsServe as the primary point of contact between Marketing Operations and the Marketing Strategy group, ensuring alignment on timelines, requirements, and deliverablesIdentify and escalate risks, capacity constraints, or execution gaps that may impact campaign delivery or complianceCo-develop execution approaches and contribute to marketing roadmap planning in partnership with the Marketing Strategy group and Marketing leadershipPlatform & Data OversightOversee the health, governance, and performance of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform across all utility customer segments and operating companiesEnsure marketing data integrity, segmentation accuracy, and compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and state PUC requirements across all outbound communicationsPartner with IT, CRM, and enterprise data teams to maintain reliable data flows between Marketing Cloud and upstream utility systems including CCS, AMI, OMS, and billing platformsChampion adoption of platform capabilities, automation, and analytics tools that improve team efficiency and campaign effectivenessOwn enterprise platform strategy and drive investment decisions in collaboration with senior leadership (Senior Manager)Reporting & Performance ManagementDefine and track key operational metrics including campaign delivery rates, platform uptime, execution cycle times, and team productivityPartner with the Marketing Strategy group and senior leadership to report on program performance, execution quality, and operational healthDrive a culture of measurement and continuous improvement, using data to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and elevate team outputPresent operational performance and strategic recommendations to VP-level and executive stakeholders (Senior Manager)Minimum RequirementsMinimum education required of the positionBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
