Dishwasher ($34.98/hr. - On-Call) - InterContinental San Francisco

Job Title

This is an on-call position and may be scheduled to work 0-40+ hours per week based on business need.

At InterContinental San Francisco, every guest deserves an exceptional experience. Supporting the Hotel's restaurant and banquet operations, you'll be responsible for sorting and cleaning/washing dirty pots, dishes, utensils, and other equipment used in food preparation, presentation, and consumption. Additionally, you'll be part of a larger team in charge of keeping our kitchens and heart of house areas sparkling clean!

What You'll Do

Each day is different but mostly you'll be:

• washing plates, glasses, silver and other wares.
• coordinating the movement of clean and dirty wares
• maintaining overall cleanliness of food & beverage spaces.

What We're Looking For

Experience a minimum of one year in the same or similar role.

Endurance the ability to perform a physically active role, spending most of the day on your feet.

Strong sometimes you'll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs. This can involve bending and kneeling.

Literate you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic math.

Flexible night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.

Compliant meet local laws on food handling.

Articulate a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.

The hourly pay range for this role is $26.235 to $34.98.
