Quality Control Inspector – Full-TimeLocation: Tennessee Industry: Manufacturing / Production / Quality Assurance Schedule: Full-Time | 1st, 2nd, or 3rd ShiftPosition SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that products meet required specifications, standards, and customer expectations. This role is critical to maintaining quality, reducing defects, and supporting efficient production flow.Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, experience with measurement tools, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of product integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished productsVerify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement toolsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specificationsDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality reportsIdentify nonconforming materials; tag, isolate, and communicate findings to supervisorsPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspectionsSupport root cause investigations and corrective actions with the quality and production teamsEnsure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirementsMaintain organized inspection records and follow established proceduresUphold safety and 5S standards in the inspection areaQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ year experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsProficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, go/no-go gauges, etc.)Basic understanding of quality systems, tolerances, and inspection methodsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 30–50 lbsPreferred Skills (Not Required)Experience with GD&TKnowledge of ISO, AS9100, IATF 16949, or other quality standardsExperience using CMM equipment or advanced inspection softwareFamiliarity with SPC and basic statistical toolsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experienceShift differential for night/weekend shiftsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid holidays and PTOOpportunities for training, certification, and advancement
