Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Location: Cortland, IL School Year: 2024 - 2025 Position Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for providing behavior analysis services to students, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance the learning and development of students. This role is crucial in fostering a positive and productive educational environment for students with various behavioral needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Provide direct services and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other paraprofessionals. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions and modify plans as needed. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of behavior plans. Conduct training sessions for staff and parents on behavior management techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs. Educational Requirements Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). A minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA services in a school or clinical setting is preferred. Illinois Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certifications Must hold a valid BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Licensure as a Behavior Analyst in Illinois, if applicable. Completion of required continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Strong understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
