Work Environment\nThis position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with our dedicated team of mental health professionals. As a school-based specialist, you will engage with students, parents, and school personnel to deliver mental health interventions. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments that capture the mental health concerns, strengths, and resources of students. \n
- Provide effective individual, family, and group therapy, employing evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed practices. \n
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. \n
- Lead virtual group therapy sessions, psychoeducation workshops, and support groups aimed at enhancing coping skills and self-awareness among students. \n
- Offer crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning, to ensure the well-being of students in distress. \n
- Maintain comprehensive documentation that meets ethical and legal standards while reflecting client progress and treatment outcomes. \n
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information effectively and adhere to HIPAA regulations. \n
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care. \n
This role primarily focuses on students from diverse backgrounds, facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and social-emotional difficulties. As a vital advocate for their well-being, you will empower these young individuals to navigate their emotions and strengthen their resilience through targeted therapeutic interventions and support.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. \n
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health, preferably in an outpatient or school setting. \n
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based treatment approaches applicable to the school environment. \n
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues. \n

- Experience working directly with children and adolescents in a school-based or outpatient setting. \n
