Job Summary Pittsburgh, PA | Burgettstown Start Date: May 11th, but flexible for the right fit Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday with Tuesdays off, Guaranteed 36 hours/week Hourly Rate: $27-30/hour Children: 3 year old, 9 month old, & baby due in November Pets: 2 cats and 1 dog Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays Requirements: up-to-date vaccinations preferred Responsibilities and Duties If your ideal days include fresh air, busy little feet, and a family who genuinely does life well—this one is special. Your role will center around creating engaging, active, and grounded days—getting outside often, planning simple outings (local parks, library days, and, when comfortable, trips to museums or the zoo—the family car is provided), reading books, and helping both children feel secure, stimulated, and deeply cared for. This is a hands‑on, present role—phones down, fully engaged, building connection in everyday moments. The family values a nanny who doesn’t just supervise but thoughtfully weaves developmental learning into play. This position blends childcare and household support. The family is collaborative and flexible—the goal is simple: keep life running smoothly. As time allows, you’ll help lighten the load—meal prep, dishes, laundry, tidying, organizing, and taking initiative where helpful. At times on the hobby farm, you may collect eggs with the children—nothing heavy, always optional. Both parents work from home part of the time, supportive but respectful of your space.
