Production Associate
Responsibilities
- Operate bottling and packaging equipment to repackage bulk liquid and powder chemicals into smaller containers in the sizes requested by customers.
- Follow detailed, structured documentation procedures to record all production activities accurately and in compliance with GMP standards.
- Assemble packaging components and prepare containers, labels, and materials required for each production run.
- Inspect products, packaging, and labels for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications before release.
- Handle, move, and stage materials and finished goods, including lifting items weighing between 40 and 75 pounds as part of daily tasks.
- Use forklifts or other material handling equipment, where assigned, to transport materials safely within the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with clean room and GMP requirements.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all safety procedures, including restrictions on contact lenses and adherence to eye protection policies.
- Communicate clearly in English, both in writing and verbally, to follow work instructions, complete documentation, and coordinate with team members.
- Support continuous production flow by following established schedules, shift assignments, and standard operating procedures.
Work Environment
The facility operates as a clean room type environment that follows strict GMP protocols, providing a controlled and orderly workspace. The building is temperature-controlled; however, some departments require full clean room attire, which can feel hot while working. Depending on department, you may wear beard nets, hair nets, smocks, and shoe covers in addition to standard PPE. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required; non-prescription safety glasses are provided, while prescription safety glasses must be supplied by the employee. Contact lenses are not permitted. The schedule offers multiple structured shift options, including 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday on first and second shifts, a 2x2x3 12-hour rotation, and a weekend shift option on first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, designed to equate to a full-time workweek. There is no shift premium. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and adherence to documented procedures throughout the workday

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
