HOUSEKEEPER (HOTEL)
As a Housekeeper for Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. Your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replace linens and towels as needed, ensuring all items are clean and presentable.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
- Restock guest room amenities and supplies, such as toiletries and coffee.
- Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and report any findings to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning standards and guest privacy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and overall cleanliness of the property.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming License (if applicable).
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Presentable appearance and willingness to wear a uniform.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Lift and carry heavy objects, such as linens and cleaning supplies.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and odors.
- Moderate physical effort required.
- Minimum to moderate exposure to smoke.
