Associate Attorney

Compensation: $140,000–$190,000+ depending on experience A nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its growing Charlotte office. What You'll Do Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Handle pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation Develop case strategy and work directly with clients and carriers Draft motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other substantive filings Attend court appearances, depositions, hearings, and mediations Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on complex litigation matters Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in North Carolina 2+ years of litigation experience Defense litigation experience strongly preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: General Liability Products Liability Transportation Employment Litigation Insurance Defense Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Experience handling depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation is a plus Why Consider This Opportunity?
