Job OverviewThe RBT implements behavior interventions under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Note: It is expected that all employees who are hired as a Behavioral Technician at KNR will acquire their RBT certification within 3 weeks of employment.Note: KNR Therapy RBTs will have a designation of level of clinical expertise associated with their title.Direct Services ResponsibilitiesImplement behavior plan programs using recognized ABA techniquesProvide consistent, quality services with the highest standards of professionalismBuild and maintain positive parent rapportEnsure effective communication with supervisors and client caregiversDocument accurate and quality clinical notes per KNR best practice expectationsImplement feedback given by the client BCBA, Team Lead, and Clinical Leadership with fidelityCommunicate any know client schedule changes to the BCBA immediatelyProfessional Development and Admin ResponsibilitiesRequest training and support from supervising BCBAs on skills or operational policies that require clarification or additional trainingAttend and engage in all assigned meetings and trainings scheduled during working hours.Engage with required Continuing EducationLight cleaning dutiesSupport the training and mentorship of new team members as assignedMaintain an active RBT certification, including documentation of supervision by BCBAs as required by BACB guidelines.Maintain an active HIPAA certificationMaintain an active BLS/CPR certificationMaintain an active safety care training certification (if applicable)Acquire a public school security badge (if applicable)Conversion of all Central Reach appointments at the time of the appointment with exceptions converted within 24 hoursEnsuring that all appointments are converted with the accurate time of services in the appointment and in the clinical note header and body of the noteRespond to email, Teams and text communications within 24 hoursComply with all KNR operationally defined procedures and policiesModel KNR values and operating principles consistentlySupports new hires & case transfers by allowing shadow sessions and answering questions as delegatedRequirementsIn order to be eligible for a BT/RBT position at KNR, an employee must:Be at least 18 years of ageHave at least 1 year experience working with childrenBe willing to acquire RBT certification within 3 weeks of employmentHave reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendanceSuccessful completion of Level 2 Background check; reference check and driver’s license checkBe able to climb stairs, run, engage in gross motor activities, and lift up to 30 lbs.Ability to stand for a minimum of 1 hour duration.Perform with regular and punctual attendance as it is an essential function of this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr KNR THERAPY LLC
