Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit, supporting patients through all stages of labor and delivery
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips and fetal monitoring data
• Circulate and scrub in the operating room as required for obstetric procedures
• Support primary newborn care and facilitate transition from delivery
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to manage high-risk obstetric patients
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 recent years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• OR circulator experience required; must be able to both circulate and scrub in the OR
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; must pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Completion of at least an Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course (AWHONN preferred)
• Active RN licensure in Massachusetts or compact state eligibility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-risk obstetrics
• Charge nurse experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Completion of a Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation course
• Primary newborn RN experience for delivery transition care
