Special Person Wanted — Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company is looking for a superstar to lead our team and care for our guests!
We have a very successful, stable business that’s been operating for 40 years. We are looking for someone to lead it through its next phase. If you are ready to represent our cafe and lead the team? We would love to meet you!
After more than 40 years, the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company's founder and caretaker has decided to take a step toward retirement—presenting an incredible opportunity for someone special to take the reins. We are seeking a full-time General Manager who wants to be a big part of our future and understands the responsibility our coffee shop holds as the center of the Los Gatos community.
The right candidate has extensive restaurant/cafe management (General Manager) experience, wants to lead from the front, has a focus on details and operating standards and, most of all, will love hosting Los Gatos’ guests and want to be a big part of its community. We are looking for the right person more than anything else. We are looking for someone who is positive and likes people.

Since our inception in 1982 (43+ years ago!), we’ve specialized in sourcing and roasting the finest coffees from around the world—and our goal is sharing a wonderful coffee experience with everyone who visits.
We are a family-owned cafe and a proud member of the Los Gatos community. As an independent craft roaster and coffee house, we take great pride in our dedication to staff, award-winning coffee, high-quality standards and our service to the wonderful guests who visit us daily.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer service focus, integrity, honesty, positive attitude, reliability, eagerness to contribute and strong work ethic required
- Strong experience and understanding of restaurant general management, including daily operations, labor/scheduling, ownership and delivery of your P & L, hiring and training, health and safety
- Sincere interest to learn about and/or appreciation for specialty coffee, local wine and live music
- Innate focus on overall detail and quality of our business, take pride in your work and have a get the job done mentality
- Natural ability to engage with and understand our guests, discover and respond to their needs
- Be driven to work side by side with, care for and support our current and future LGCRC team
