Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary Responsible for entering professional charges into the appropriate billing system. Responsibilities Provides charge entry support for Health Medical Group/ Health Hospital Group (Professional). Identifies and corrects problems with registration prior to charges being updated for the day. Accurately enters all charges into the system and posts to the appropriate account. Verifies and maintains processes that result in appropriate turnaround time of encounter forms. Identifies trends in encounter form errors and communicates to appropriate offices. Reviews charge summaries from the Health Medical Group/Health Hospital Group (Professional) practices. Make appropriate changes in charge entry to correct any charge entry errors. Requirements W2 candidates only. 100% Hybrid. Onsite for training or as needed; WFH possible after training with approval. Typical work days: M/TH/F. Skills & Experience Detail oriented, banking experience, customer service, Excel proficiency, comfort with technology, quick learner, able to research and reconcile accounts. Required high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred associate’s degree. Less than 2 years of experience in ICD/CPT coding, registration and/or billing, medical terminology, and insurance guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr Stefanini North America and APAC
