Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare facility located in Tallahassee, Florida. This position requires float capability across all units within the med surg division, with weekend and holiday shifts. The role involves providing patient care in a busy, trauma level 2 teaching facility with designated stroke and chest pain centers.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida Registered Nurse (FL RN) license or compact license; minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in Medical Surgical Floor; prior travel nursing experience with at least 1 completed assignment; BLS certification; phlebotomy experience; EPIC electronic medical records training during orientation with testing opportunities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma level 2 facilities; knowledge of stroke and chest pain protocols.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No local candidates available for Med Surg, Telemetry, or ICU units within a 50-mile radius. No holiday approved time off (RTO) or more than 7 consecutive days off without manager approval. No travel pair assignments unless specifically requested by the facility. No guaranteed block scheduling. The position starts on 08/10/2026 and involves working weekend and holiday shifts.
