As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Manchester, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, verifying authorized access at designated entry points, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor customer, employee, vendor, and/or delivery access throughout the location, documenting visitor activity and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using clear communication and de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, sales floor, stock areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support opening and closing routines by checking access points, observing high-traffic areas, and assisting with security-related reporting for incidents, alarms, and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
