Job Overview Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) – part‑time in Westminster, Thornton, Arvada and surrounding areas. Provide customized therapy in patients’ homes to help them regain independence and perform daily activities with optimal outcomes. Compensation $75–$150 per visit, plus travel and mileage reimbursement. Paid sick time for part‑time employees. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury. Work as part of a home‑health team (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PT, SLP) focused on the patient’s plan of care and personal goals. Assess patients, observe deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress. Assist patients with exercises to improve fine‑motor skills and coordination. Suggest adaptive equipment such as grab bars and shower chairs. Assess fall risks and introduce strategies to improve home safety. Educate patients and families on the plan of care, exercises, goals, and self‑care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and active OT license in the State of Colorado. Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience, preferably in home healthcare. CPR/BLS certification (must be a demonstration course). Knowledge of state and federal home‑health regulations. Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and compassionate.
